Dear Valued Customers of Bakewell Ducks

 

We are sorry to announce that Bakewell Ducks will be unable to offer Barbary Ducklings for sale in December or for Christmas 2023.

 

Sadly the Avian Flu situation, which you may have heard about in the news has impacted our business. Whilst we have not had avian flu (AI) on our farm, the breeder flock and hatchery we use to supply our day old ducklings has been seriously affected by AI throughout this year, meaning we have not been able to source any Muscovy Ducklings this Autumn.

 

We hope to be able to supply once the importing of ducklings and ample supply is possible. This would have been our 30th year producing Barbary Ducklings and we are sad to be letting loyal customers down. We hope you have a wonderful Christmas (albeit a duck free one, this year).
